MY STORY

I was born and grew up in Vietnam.  I came to the US in 2001, met my husband in L.A, and moved to Madison, Wisconsin in 2002. We now live in Cottage Grove with two children who were the reason I came to photography. I got my first DSLR camera in 2009, took photography lessons in 2010 at UW Madison. During the last ten years, the joy of taking pictures of my own kids transformed into the love of making connections with people through photography. It taught me to open up beyond the eyes can see, and to look at people with the heart. Seeing people, capturing their moments, and witnessing their happiness brings joy and replenishes me with energy.
Life is a string of moments, likes notes in a song, So is a photo shoot. Photography opens doors for me, introduces me to fascinating people, takes me into their worlds and allows me to feel the beautiful moments, to listen to their songs.
